Braided
Shabbat, photographed for Braided NYC, a weekly challah subscription baked in small batches just a few hours before candle lighting.
Founded by Tara Satnick and raised on the importance of tradition, Braided was created to make tradition feel alive, yet effortless, in the modern Jewish home.
These images, featuring Tara’s grandparents and cousin, are a quiet reminder of why Braided exists: to help families connect, practice tradition, and honor the importance of community across generations.
Photography is part of The Libi Project’s ongoing work documenting the stories of brands rooted in food traditions, sustained by memory, and carried forward by community.
